New Year - New Tech

We have started off a new year with new technology here at Cedar Valley! We have 2 new Next Gen teachers, Mrs. Sur in 6th grade math and Mrs. Collins in 8th grade US History. This gives us a total of 3 Next Gen classrooms that have been outfitted with chromebooks for every student! The teachers and students are already off and running in using this new technology!

Cedar Valley also supports the district BYOD initiative. Students have been using their own devices with selfie-sticks to record themselves speaking French in Madame Macharia's class.  They will save these videos into their online portfolios throughout the year to measure their mastery of the language.

It looks like 2015-2016 is going to be a great year!
